• What You Need: a clean, 5-gallon bucket (available at any hardware or department store)
• Place the Painter’s Pegs at the bottom of the bucket with pegs facing up.
• Add Water: Fill the 5-gallon bucket with just enough clean water to cover your

• Clean Brushes: Take the paint-covered brushes one at a time and move them over the Painter’s Pegs, back and forth in a sweeping motion until bristles are clean
• Finish Up: Wrap your clean brush with an absorbent rag to remove excess water and allow brush to air dry.
• Dispose of any contaminated water properly
• Remove the Painter’s Pegs from the bucket
• Rinse bucket and Painter’s Pegs with tap or hose
• Allow Painter’s Pegs and bucket to air dry or use a cloth/towel to dry
